*To accelerate the digitisation of trade and investment by establishing the ICC Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation in partnership with Teesside University and Tees Valley Combined Authority.
The project partners were commissioned by HM Treasury to produce a feasibility study to establish the Centre in the Tees Valley. The feasibility report secured £500k funding from Tees Valley Combined Authority to create and establish the Centre, including co-locating the Centre at Teesside University.
The Centre has established a programme of R&D pilots, training courses, digital identity registration and legal assistance. The partnership with Teesside University has secured two Innovate UK collaborative research grants and the development of digital trade training provision and consultancy services.
